Continued Professional Development online
New IofAM CPD pilot launching soon: Call for authors
The Institute is launching a pilot online CPD programme making it easy and accessible for anyone working in association management to gain valuable, recognised credentials.
The Institute’s partner in this initiative is Orkell Ltd - www.orkell.co.uk - specialists in making web-based training available from the desktop.
This modular learning system divides learning into manageable chunks and works around each individual’s schedule, maximising the time and resources of learners everywhere.
When you take part in the online pilot CDP programme, you’ll have the chance to test several subject modules, each of which focuses on an issue that has been debated in recent Institute seminars and masterclasses:
Event Management
Membership retention and Recruitment
Data Protection
Governance and Leadership
Presentation and Media Skills
Authors wanted!
We welcome submissions from anyone interested in writing the CPD courses listed above, or others.
Authors receive recognition and a percentage of the course fees.
Typically, online coursework includes several sub-sections which can be paused and re-started at any time. Ample revision text and test questions are offered along the way, and web-based resources and references for revision are also included as part of the online learning package.
Your participation will help us build a comprehensive certification programme, setting the benchmarks and raising the profile of association management as a profession.
