Seminar Report

Developing Associations through Sponsorship

Wednesday 5 October
Institute of Association Management,
1 Queen Anne's Gate, Westminster, London

An informative morning of talks and interactive panel discussions to explore how you can develop your organisation through sponsorship funding. Lively discussion with experienced practitioners and fellow professionals was followed by a buffet lunch at our offices in the heart of Westminster .

Three nationally-known, experienced speakers - Andrew Thomas, Linda Ewing and Rachel Clarke - lead the conversation and investigated a number of issues including:

  • marketing your proposition
  • delivering value
  • understanding your brand
  • maintaining successful partnerships, and
  • ensuring corporate social responsibility.

The discussion was of benefit to specialists in marketing, communications and web, as well as any individual or association looking for useful guidelines on how to sustain an organisation and secure long-term funding through sponsorship. The session was also of value to any individual or association wishing to meet management professionals from within the association market.
