Becoming a Fellow of the Institute

Fellows of the Institute are valued, senior association management professionals with a range of documented experience and knowledge. An Institute Fellow is entitled to use the designated letters FIAM after his or her name.

The Institute has recently launched a flexible path to Fellowship.

Members of the Institute who are interested in becoming Fellows need to show 20 hours of industry-related learning. At least 50% of those hours need to be gained through IofAM seminars or events or through the Institute's soon-to-be re-launched online CPD programme. The remaining number of hours must be gained through a range or combination of relevant, certified seminars or online learning modules from a recognised industry body. The recommended timing to complete the Fellowship is about three years.

To discuss the path to Fellowship and to enrol in the programme, please contact Ellis Chen at ellis.chen@secretariat.org.uk or 0207 227 3461.
