Graham Smart Sustainable Funding Programme Manager, NCVO
Graham joined NCVO's Sustainable Funding Team in 2004 and in 2006 he became the Sustainable Funding Programme Manager. Graham has established and managed several voluntary sector partnerships through which a wealth of tools and resources have been written to support voluntary organisations in developing sustainable income strategies. In 2009 Graham led on the development and launch of Funding Central - the definitive website enabling organisations to identify appropriate funding and finance opportunities. Prior to joining NCVO Graham spent over ten years working in the private sector, principally in the retail trade; the last five years of which was spent as a Merchandiser for Wines and Spirits. Graham is active in his local community, where he works as a volunteer with young offenders in helping them to address the underlying causes of their actions in order to prevent an escalation in their offending behaviour. He is also a Trustee for a grant-making regeneration Trust in East London.
