Simon Ellis Senior Partner Studio Strategy
Simon Ellis is the Senior Partner of Studio Strategy, a leading media training and presentation consultancies. Simon was a BBC radio reporter, newsreader and presenter for five years before becoming a BBC News Editor in 1986. He reported for the BBC from the South Atlantic, Northern Ireland and Germany. After leaving the BBC he was Programme Editor on Europe’s first daily business news television programme - Channel 4's highly acclaimed Business Daily. He helped launch it and oversaw its Budget Day coverage which won Financial Times Wincott Awards two years running. He was a senior member of the editorial team during its five year run. In addition he has also worked on the Sunday Express business section and written for The Financial Times and The Times on business topics. He has advised more than 500 Chief Executives, Senior Partners of professional firms and leading medical professionals. In addition to the UK, he has worked for a large number of Continental European and North American companies and organisations and is experienced at providing media and presentation coaching across cultural boundaries. He is also Editorial Director of ON AIR: The Insider’s Guide to Business Programmes – a specialist quarterly research publication, widely used by major Corporates, PR professionals and regulators such as the Bank of England.
