Femi Otitoju Training Director, Challenge Consultancy
Since 1980, Challenge Consultancy has assisted a great many organisations implement their equality and diversity strategies through the design and delivery of bespoke training programmes, Her experience spans central and local government, the National Health service as well as the private and voluntary sectors. Femi still delivers face to face training at least three times a week, which enables her to continue to develop her skills and keep up with developments in the discipline. Current projects include: - Working with senior managers of The National Archive to create a culture change within the organisation by guiding the senior management team through the design and implementation of a diversity strategy. - Acting as preferred provider of equality and diversity consultancy to The Scottish Parliament, leading a team of trainers and consultants to carry out diversity audits, devising training programmes on Dignity at Work, Managing Diversity and Disability Equality and the production of a training video for use as part of the training programme. Femi writes and produces training videos for general distribution and is the producer and presenter of the widely used Video Arts title Fairs Fair. Femi is also the author of Same Difference, an e-learning Diversity Solution currently utilised by a diverse range of organisations including Tayside Fire and Rescue.
