John Hooker Director – Client Services Specialists THA Group
John has joined THA Group – “The Agency of Choice”, from his most recent role redefining the commercial conferencing and events activities at the Institution of Civil Engineers. Prior to this post John spent two and a half years as general manager - business development, building on his international, exhibition and venue management experience at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, which followed twenty years at BI - a large multi-national company devoted to performance improvement where he held a number of senior positions ensuring that the business meets consumer needs through carefully aligned internal processes. A former teacher, qualified marketer and events producer and coordinator, John Hooker, Director – Client Delivery Specialist, has big goals to accomplish at THA Group, by delivering a great customer experience. Hooker has often been called upon to speak at international seminars on event management. In addition to this, he has also implemented venue and event management CRM, ERM and Quality systems, such as EBMS and ISO9002, which ensures that organisations ‘do what they say they will do’ in terms of providing services to its clients. Hooker interests include sailing, current affairs, social history, and food.
