Katharine Schopflin Association of UK Media Librarians
Katharine Schopflin was the Chair of the Association of UK Media Librarians (AUKML), the professional association for information professionals working for media organisations, between 2005 and 2007. Prior to this she served on the committee for 5 years as AUKML's events organiser. She has worked as a media librarian for 11 years. Much of this time was spent in the BBC's Information & Archives Department but she currently works for ITN (Independent Television News) as a cataloguer. She has also recently started a part-time research degree at UCL's School of Library, Archive and Information Studies.
