Phil Hall
Phil Hall is an award winning journalist with over 30 years experience of the newspaper industry. Phil edited the UK's biggest selling newspaper, the News of the World, before taking over the reins at the high profile magazine Hello! Phil later became the Editorial Director of Development for Trinity Mirror, Europe's largest newspaper publishing group, responsible for 250 titles throughout the UK. Three years ago, Phil decided to take advantage of his vast amount of experience and media access and founded his own PR agency. Phil Hall Associates has become one of the movers and shakers in the world of PR, representing many household names including companies and individuals. Most recently, Phil Hall Associates was awarded 'highly commended' at the PR Week Awards 2007, in recognition of its impressive track record so far. Phil's profile and experience is recognised throughout the industry and this has led to regular appearances on the BBC, ITN and Sky News, where he comments on the news issues of the day. Phil is uniquely placed to handle any crisis about to hit the media and will talk about how to anticipate and work with the media during a crisis situation.
