Rachel has managed marketing and communications planning for a
range of commercial and non-profit organisations and has extensive,
recent experience developing web-based communications and marketing
strategies. She is now Communications Manager for Added
Value Administration Ltd (AVA) – a service-based
organisation providing business development support to associations
and membership bodies nationwide.
Rachel has spent several years in the non-profit sector, creating
and implementing communications programmes designed to maximise
the impact of a marketing message while often working within a
limited budget. She developed and managed a range of initiatives
for organisations including Norwood Child Care, CAFOD
(Catholic Agency for Overseas Development), and the National
Art Collections Fund, and she has helped develop an online
communications strategy focusing on membership recruitment as
a Trustee for the literacy charity Write-Away.
