Rhona Howarth, Co-founder, Governance Works
Rhona has a detailed, practical knowledge and understanding of Governance and has conducted consultancies and training in Governance for a wide range of organisations and Boards in the UK and overseas. This has included supporting organisations in the development of policy and governance practice across a range of sectors and fields. Rhona’s roots are in the not for profit sector, where, as well as being a founder and member of several co-operatives, she chaired a number of key boards. Rhona has published widely on governance and enterprise. Rhona is an experienced teacher in management and enterprise, and holds an MA in entrepreneurship and is an Honorary Fellow in Enterprise of the University of Durham Business School. Rhona’s experience of being a member of a range of boards in the not for profit and commercial sector, has helped her to develop a first hand understanding and experience of governance.
