Simon Bull Head of Business Development / Head of Chartered Director, IoD
Prior to joining the IoD, Simon worked for a number of senior professional institutions leading national and international education and careers initiatives. He has experience in marketing chartered designations in the property, construction and engineering professions, along with board and director development. Simon joined IoD in November 2000 as its first executive for Chartered Director. He has been responsible for building the profile of the only professional qualification for directors, across all sectors and has secured support and endorsement for Chartered Director from government, regulators, headhunters and major investors. Simon’s role as head of department (IoD Professional Development) includes responsibility for all IoD programme, executive coaching and board development sales to a diverse range of UK and international clients and continuing to drive the growth of Chartered Director.
