Tammy started her career in Association Management in 2001 as Membership Manager at an Engineering Institution. Eighteen months into the role, she was promoted into what was only intended to be a one year position of Recruitment Manager. Nearly four years later, and having increased Membership by 10% in the first year alone she moved into her current role with the Engineering Council UK.
Whilst not active in recruiting members she is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting over 100 volunteers involved in the Licensing Process of 36 Institutions.
She was nominated to the IofAM Board in May of this year, and is an active member of the Qualification Sub-Committee as well as the Membership Sub-Committee.
Tammy is about to embark on a Marketing Qualification which she hopes will assist her in her aim to become a Chief Executive of a membership association.
